Even as global \u201chydrogen realism\u201d set in, Oman progresses with first projects coming to fruition. At the same time, renewables are expanding across the power sector, driven also by the in 2025 launched Net Zero Center to support Oman\u2019s pathway toward climate neutrality 2050.<\/p><p>The Energy Dialogue responds to these developments by fostering structured exchanges that help bridge the gap between supply, demand, and enabling policies, with a particular focus on strengthening local offtake solutions and advancing industrial decarbonisation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3828f9e5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"3828f9e5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h5 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Ramping up the hydrogen economy   <\/h5>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4168d2f9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4168d2f9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The dialogue supported market development for the hydrogen economy by bringing funding instruments such as H2Global to Oman\u2019s attention.<\/p><p>Through the H2Global Info Session and the Hintco Roadshow for the 2nd H2Global auction round in Muscat in May 2025, Omani stakeholders gained further insight into H2Global\u2019s double-sided auction mechanisms, eligibility criteria, and project preparation requirements \u2013 key elements of this critical import scheme.<\/p><p>Together, these efforts positioned Oman as a regional frontrunner in green hydrogen and green steel, while also creating strong cooperation opportunities for German companies in energy efficiency technologies and other high-growth sectors.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1941c290 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"1941c290\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h5 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\"> Pioneering hydrogen trade between the Gulf region and Europe  <\/h5>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-34e8f7a7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"34e8f7a7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The hydrogen economy offered ample potential for energy trade and technology cooperation.
